    MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT LIVERPOOL AND MILPERRA LATE FRIDAY MORNING
     Moderate to heavy rainfall since Thursday morning has caused river level rises across the Georges River catchment. Minor flooding may develop at Liverpool and Milperra from late Friday morning.
     Further heavy rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Friday, which may cause further river level rises. This situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.
    
    Georges River:
    Minor flooding may occur along the Georges River.
    The Georges River at Liverpool Bridge is currently at 1.06 metres and rising, below the minor flood level.
    The Georges River at Liverpool Bridge may reach the minor flood level (2.00 m) late Friday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.
    
    The Georges River at Milperra Bridge (AHD) is currently at 0.81 metres and rising, below the minor flood level.
    The Georges River at Milperra Bridge (AHD) may reach the minor flood level (2.00 m) late Friday morning on the high tide.
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
     * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
     * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
     * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
     * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
