Weather Situation A weak ridge extends into the Territory directing relatively dry and windy conditions across the Top End. Winds will ease in the Top End, with increasing humidity, in coming days. A strong trough will move from WA into the Lasseter District later during Thursday with warm to hot and very windy conditions developing ahead of the trough, followed by a cooler southerly change that will extend over southern parts of the Territory from Friday. Forecast for the rest of Thursday 19 September Cloud increasing later in the day over the Lasseter, Simpson and southern Tanami Districts. Sunny elsewhere. Early morning fog about the Top End and Carpentaria District.
