    MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT KIEWA (MAIN STREAM) AND BANDIANA FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING
     River levels are elevated along the Kiewa River in response to recent rainfall.
     Further thunderstorms are forecast across the catchment during Tuesday, which may cause renewed river level rises and minor flooding. The situation is being monitored and warnings will be updated as required.
    
    Kiewa River to Mongans Bridge:
    River levels are elevated along the Kiewa River to Mongans Bridge.
    Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge:
    Minor flooding is possible along the Kiewa River downstream of Mongans Bridge.
    The Kiewa River at Kiewa (Main Stream) is currently at 2.28 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (3.30 metres).
    The Kiewa River at Kiewa (Main Stream) may reach the minor flood level (3.30 m) from Wednesday morning with forecast rainfall.
    
    The Kiewa River at Bandiana peaked at 2.73 metres Sunday afternoon and is currently at 2.23 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (2.80 metres).
    The Kiewa River at Bandiana may reach the minor flood level (2.80 m) from Wednesday morning with forecast rainfall.
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    SES advises that all community members should:
     Never walk, ride or drive through floodwater
     Never allow children to play in floodwater
     Stay away from waterways and stormwater drains during and after heavy rain
     Keep well clear of fallen power lines
     Be aware that in fire affected areas, rainfall run-off into waterways may contain debris such as ash, soil, trees and rocks, and heavy rainfall increases the potential for landslides and debris across roads.}
