    Moderate Flood Warning For The Cooper Creek And Minor Flood Warning For The Thomson And Barcoo Rivers

    WINDORAH EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW THE MODERATE FLOOD LEVEL LATE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
     MINOR FLOODING IS CONTINUING TO EASE AT JUNDAH AND RETREAT
     No significant rainfall has been recorded over the last few days. Showers are likely over parts of the catchments on Wednesday and Thursday, with thunderstorms possible on Thursday. Widespread significant rainfall is not expected. Small renewed river level rises are possible in areas of higher rainfall.
     River level observations are currently unavailable for a number of manual stations. Where data becomes available it will be added to the next warning update. See www.bom.gov.au/qld/flood/west.shtml for the latest observations.
    
    Thomson River:
    Minor flooding is easing along the lower Thomson River.
    The Thomson River at Jundah is expected to be just above the minor flood level (2.50 m) and falling.
    The Thomson River at Jundah is expected to fall below the minor flood level (2.50 m) Wednesday afternoon and continue easing over the next few days.
    
    Barcoo River downstream of Isisford:
    Minor flooding is occurring along the Barcoo River downstream of Isisford.
    The Barcoo River at Retreat is currently at 2.58 metres and steady, with minor flooding.
    The river level will continue to ease over the next few days and the Barcoo River at Retreat may fall below the minor flood level (2.10 m) during Thursday.
    
    Cooper Creek:
    Moderate flooding is occurring along the Cooper Creek.
    The Cooper Creek at Windorah (Main Channel) is currently at 4.69 metres and falling slowly, just above the moderate flood level (4.60 m).
    The Cooper Creek at Windorah (Main Channel) is expected to fall below the moderate flood level (4.60 m) late Wednesday afternoon. The creek level will continue to ease but is likely to remain above the minor flood level (3.00 m) into the weekend.
