Weather Situation A weak ridge of high pressure extends across central Australia and is directing dry southeasterlies across the north, with a more humid easterly flow extending across the Top End from Wednesday. Overnight temperatures are expected to increase as the dry air erodes. Meanwhile, warm temperatures will occur in the south this week as a series of weak troughs move through, before a brief cool southeasterly change arrives later in the week. Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 17 July Sunny apart from some morning fog patches over the eastern and northwest Top End. Partly cloudy over northern Arnhem District. Warm in the southern districts.
