Weather Situation A southeast surge arrives in the Top End during Tuesday, which will result in drier and windier conditions for a few days before winds ease and moisture begins to return from Thursday. The south of the Territory will be dominated by a broad ridge of high pressure over southern Australia this week, leading to mild and sunny days. Forecast for the rest of Monday 22 July Partly cloudy over the far northeast Top End. Clear elsewhere. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds. Forecast for Tuesday 23 July Sunny, after morning fog over the eastern Arnhem, northeast Carpentaria and western Daly Districts. Isolated morning frost over the Simpson and southern Lasseter Districts.
