Weather Situation A weak trough is moving north through the Territory ahead of a high pressure ridge extending across central Australia to a high over the Tasman Sea. This will create dry and windy conditions across the Top End over the next couple of days. A strong trough will move from WA into the Lasseter District later during Thursday with warm to hot and very windy conditions developing ahead of the trough, followed by a cooler southerly change that will extend over southern parts of the Territory from Friday. Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 18 September Sunny after early morning fog about the Daly, Arnhem and Carpentaria Districts.
