Weather Situation A trough moving across the south of the Territory today will see the warm conditions ease briefly tomorrow. Temperature starting to rise again over the weekend as a high pressure system moves quickly east across southern Australia. As this high moves east the southeasterly surge will extend the dry air into the Top End on tomorrow with drier, windy conditions expected to prevail in the north this weekend. Forecast for the rest of Thursday 19 July A slight chance of showers over the northeast Arnhem District, increasing to a medium chance about the far northeast coast. Sunny through central districts with areas of cloud elsewhere.
