Weather Situation A more humid easterly flow extends across the north of the Territory as a ridge builds across Queensland, resulting in showers about the coasts of the Top End. Mostly sunny conditions prevailing elsewhere in the Territory. In the south, warm to hot temperatures expected in northerly winds ahead of the next trough arriving from WA on Friday. A patchy cloud band is expected to develop with the arrival of this trough. The cloud band will persist through the weekend with little or no rain expected. Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 26 September A slight chance of showers over the Tiwi Islands, west and east coasts of the Top End. Sunny elsewhere.
