Weather Situation Dry and windy conditions will gradually ease this week as a strong high pressure system in the Great Australian Bight moves slowly east and weakens. Cool to cold nights and mild days will continue until later in the week. Towards the end of the week, and increase in humidity will see early morning fog return in the north, while winds will turn warmer northerly in the south ahead of the next trough that approaches on the weekend. Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 16 July Clear. Areas of smoke and haze over northern and western Top End. Moderate southeast winds. Forecast for Wednesday 17 July Partly cloudy over central and southern districts, clearing during the day.
