Weather Situation A high pressure system in the Tasman Sea extends a weak ridge across northern parts of the Territory, while a series of troughs and cold fronts will move across southern Australia over coming days. This will maintain hot northwesterly winds over southern and central parts of the Territory for another few days, with temperatures up to 10 degrees above average in some areas. A cloud band and some rain are expected to develop over southern parts around mid-week, and together with a southwest change will bring cooler temperatures. Forecast for the rest of Sunday 24 September Mostly clear. Light to moderate northeast to northwest winds.
