Northern Territory Forecast Issued at 11:11 pm CST on Sunday 19 November 2017 for the period until midnight CST Thursday 23 November 2017. Warning Information For latest warnings go to www.bom.gov.au, subscribe to RSS feeds, call 1300 659 214* or listen for warnings on relevant TV and radio broadcasts. Weather Situation A firm ridge along the Queensland coast is directing a humid northeasterly flow across the northern parts of the Territory. Another ridge over central Australia is dissipating, allowing moist and unstable northerlies to redevelop across the central and southern districts ahead of the next trough approaching from WA. Showers and storms along the western border are expected to extend east as a couple of troughs move across central Australia over the next few days. A ridge of high pressure developing over southwestern Australia early in the week will bring a drier southerly change to much of the southern districts around middle of the week.
