    FLOODING IS EASING IN THE SWAN RIVER AT WALYUNGA
     Recent heavy rainfall in the Swan-Avon river catchments has caused stream level rises and areas of flooding. Light rainfall totals today are not expected to trigger further flooding, however heavier rainfall expected Monday into Tuesday may trigger renewed river rises and areas of flooding.
     No significant rainfall recorded in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Sunday.
    
    Swan River upstream of Walyunga:
    No further flooding is expected in the Swan River upstream of Walyunga.
    The Swan River at Walyunga peaked at 4.07 metres around 01:00 am Saturday 24 July and is currently at 2.97 metres and falling.
    The Swan River at Walyunga is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.50 m) during Sunday.
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    DFES advises people and communities to be aware that flooding is possible and be prepared to relocate equipment and livestock. Watch water levels. Travellers need to be aware that road conditions may be adversely affected and travel plans may need to be reconsidered. Do not drive into water of unknown depth and velocity.}
