Final Flood Warning For The King River

MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT DOCKER RD BRIDGE
Moderate rainfall has been observed across the Ovens and King catchments since Tuesday. This has caused river level rises throughout the catchment, but minor flooding is no longer expected at Docker Rd Bridge.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
King River:
Minor flooding is no longer expected along the King River.
The King River at Docker Rd Bridge peaked at 2.99 m around 01:00 am Sunday 31 August, below the minor flood level. The river is currently at 2.90 m and steady, below the minor flood level.
The King River at Docker Rd Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.70 m).
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
