    Minor Flood Warning For The South Esk River

    MINOR FLOODING CONTINUING AT FINGAL, LLEWELLYN AND PERTH DURING SUNDAY
     Minor flooding is continuing at Fingal, Llewellyn and Perth during Sunday. Minor flooding is easing at Lewis Hill. Minor flooding is likely to develop at Trevallyn Pond Sunday afternoon.
     In the 24 hours to 9:00 am Sunday, no significant rainfall has been recorded in the South Esk catchment. Rainfall totals of less than 5 mm are forecast for the remainder of Sunday.
     Strong and dangerous flows will be a hazard over the next few days.
    
    Break O'Day River:
    River levels are easing along the Break O'Day River.
    South Esk River above Fingal:
    River levels are easing along the South Esk River above Fingal.
    St Pauls River:
    Flooding is easing along the St Pauls River.
    The St Pauls River at Lewis Hill is currently at 1.68 metres and falling below the minor flood level.
    The St Pauls River at Lewis Hill is expected to remain below the minor flood level (1.70 m) during Sunday.
    
    South Esk River - Fingal to Llewellyn:
    Minor flooding is occurring along the South Esk River - Fingal to Llewellyn.
    The South Esk River at Fingal is currently at 4.55 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
    The South Esk River at Fingal is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) Sunday evening.
    
    The South Esk River at Llewellyn is currently at 4.48 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
    The South Esk River at Llewellyn is likely to fall below the minor flood level (4.00 m) Sunday evening.
    
    Nile River:
    River levels are easing along the Nile River.
    South Esk River - Llewellyn to Perth:
    Minor flooding is occurring along the South Esk River - Llewellyn to Perth.
    The South Esk at Perth peaked at 5.85 metres around 02:00 am Sunday 17 October and is currently at 5.65 metres and falling, with minor flooding.
    The South Esk at Perth is likely to remain above the minor flood level (4.30 m) during Sunday. The river level may fall below the minor flood level (4.30 m) during Monday.
    
    South Esk River - Perth to Longford:
    Minor flooding is no longer expected along the South Esk River - Perth to Longford.
    The South Esk River at Longford is currently peaking at 3.23 metres (minor flood level 3.50 m) and steady.
    The South Esk River at Longford is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.50 m) during Sunday.
    
    South Esk River around Hadspen and Lake Trevallyn:
    Minor flooding is likely along the South Esk River around Hadspen and Lake Trevallyn.
    The South Esk River at Trevallyn Pond is currently at 127.72 metres and steady.
    The South Esk River at Trevallyn Pond is likely to reach the minor flood level (128.20 m) Sunday afternoon. The river level may peak near 128.40 metres Sunday afternoon.
