Minor Flood Warning For The North Esk River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT CORRA LINN THURSDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate rainfall totals have been recorded across the North Esk catchment during Tuesday and Wednesday. River level rises are occurring across the catchment, with minor flooding possible at Corra Linn Thursday afternoon.
Further showers are possible for the remainder of Thursday.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Minor flooding is possible along the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.58 m and rising, below the minor flood level.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn may peak near the minor flood level (2.70 m) Thursday afternoon.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
