    MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT BIRDSVILLE OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY WITH AN EXTENDED MODERATE PEAK DURING THURSDAY
     FLOOD LEVELS REMAIN ABOVE THE CAUSEWAY AT DIAMANTINA LAKES
     Re-issued to amend reference to the approaches of the Eyre Developmental Road
     Minor to major flooding is continuing along the Diamantina River. There are two flood peaks currently around Monkira, and Roseberth Station.
     No significant rainfall was recorded in the Diamantina River catchment in the last 7 days, and no significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
     A generalised Flood Warning is current for the Diamantina River in South Australia.
    
    Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
    The Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes is at 2.43 metres above the level of the causeway on the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road, and steady.
    Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
    Minor to Major flooding is occurring along the Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes.
    The Diamantina River at Birdsville is currently 5.85 m and 0.75 m over the approaches of the Eyre Developmental Road (5.10 m) and rising with minor flooding.
    The Diamantina River at Birdsville is likely to exceed the moderate flood level (6.00 m) overnight Wednesday into Thursday. The river level may reach an extended moderate peak near 6.50 metres during Thursday.
