MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT PEETS BRIDGE
Significant rainfall overnight across the Russell and Mulgrave River catchments has resulted in river level rises and flooding.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge, and flooding is occurring along the Russell River.
Mulgrave River:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Mulgrave River.
The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is currently at 5.05 m and rising, above the minor flood level (5.00 m).
The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge may reach around 5.30 m Wednesday morning, with minor flooding.
Russell River:
River levels are elevated and flooding is occurring along the Russell River.
Flood Safety Advice:
Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
