    MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TUNCURRY (POINT ROAD) EARLY TUESDAY MORNING ON THE HIGH TIDE
     Moderate to heavy rainfall since Sunday has caused significant river level rises along the Karuah and Wang Wauk rivers, which, combined with the high tide, has the potential to cause minor flooding at Tuncurry (Point Road) early morning Tuesday.
     Further heavy rainfall is forecast for the reminder of Monday into Tuesday, which may cause further river level rises. The situation is closely monitored and the flood warning will be updated as required.
    
    Wallis Lake:
    Minor flooding may occur along the Wallis Lake.
    
    The Wallis Lake at Tuncurry (Point Road) is currently at 0.67 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (0.90 m).
    The Wallis Lake at Tuncurry (Point Road) may reach the minor flood level early Tuesday morning on the high tide.
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
     * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
     * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
     * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
     * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
