    MAJOR FLOODING LIKELY AT WEILMORINGLE, ANGLEDOOL, POSSIBLE AT BRENDA AND KENEBREE
     MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT GOODWINS FROM SATURDAY
     MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE ALONG THE BIRRIE AND BOKHARA RIVERS AT GOODOOGA EARLY NEXT WEEK
     Moderate to heavy local rainfall during the week commencing 9 May, combined with earlier floodwaters from Queensland, have caused renewed and prolonged flooding along the Culgoa, Birrie, Bokhara and Narran Rivers.
     Along the Culgoa River, an earlier flood peak is now passing through Weilmoringle, where minor flooding is occurring and renewed rises to the major flood level are possible around the end of May to early June. These floodwaters may also cause major flooding downstream at Kenebree around the second week of June. Moderate flooding continues at Kenebree.
     Renewed rises have also been observed upstream in Queensland, which have caused minor flooding at Brenda and may cause major flooding around the end of May.
     Renewed rises have also been observed along the Bokhara River (QLD), which may cause renewed minor flooding along the Birrie and Bokhara Rivers (NSW) at Goodooga from early next week.
     Along the Bokhara River (NSW), an earlier flood peak is approaching Goodwins, where minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is possible over the weekend.
     Along the Narran River at Angledool, renewed rises to the moderate flood level have been observed and major flooding is possible from Friday.
     Revised predictions will be provided once upstream peaks have been observed. A major flood warning is current for the Condamine and Balonne Rivers in Queensland, with the upstream peaks in Queensland located near Surat.
    
    Culgoa River:
    Major flooding is likely at Weilmoringle, possible at Brenda and Kenebree.
    The Culgoa River at Brenda may exceed the moderate flood level (5.50 metres) around Saturday. The river level may reach the major flood level (5.90 metres) around 28-30 May. Further rises are possible.
    
    The Culgoa River at Weilmoringle is likely to remain above the minor flood level (5.20 metres) until the end of May. The river level may reach the major flood level (5.80 metres) around the end of May or early June. Further rises are possible.
    
    The Culgoa River at Kenebree is likely to peak near 6.00 metres during Saturday, with moderate flooding. Renewed rises to the major flood level (6.30 metres) are possible around the second week of June.
    
    Birrie River:
    Minor flooding is possible along the Birrie River at Goodooga.
    Renewed rises to the minor flood level (3.20 metres) are possible early next week. Further rises are possible.
    
    Bokhara River:
    Moderate flooding is possible at Goodwins. Minor flooding is occurring at Goodwins and is possible at Goodooga.
    The Bokhara River at Goodooga may reach the minor flood level (2.70 metres) early next week. Further rises are possible.
    
    The Bokhara River at Goodwins may peak near the moderate flood level during Saturday. Further rises are possible.
    
    Narran River:
    Major flooding is likely along the Narran River at Angledool.
    The Narran River at New Angledool No 2 is likely to reach the major flood level (3.80 metres) during Friday. Further rises are possible.
    
    Flood Safety Advice:
    In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
     * Avoid drowning. Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
     * Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
     * Avoid being swept away. Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
     * Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.}
