A high pressure cell over the Tasman Sea will direct showers over east Qld while helping funnel warm N'ly winds over SA, Vic and western NSW ahead of a trough and cold front. Another front will bring gusty showers to southwest WA. Hot over the northwest, showers in the far north.

A high over the Tasman Sea will direct showers over east Qld while helping funnel warm N'lies over Vic and western NSW ahead of a showery/stormy trough moving over SA and Vic. Another front will skim gusty showers over southwest WA. Hot in the northwest, showers in the far north.

Monday 09:30 z
A stronger cold front will reach Vic and Tas and brush SA late. Instability and showers and storms will persist over the southwestern interior. Hot elsewhere over the interior, including northern SA and northwest NSW. A high will direct SE winds and a few showers over east Qld.

Tuesday 09:30 z
A cold front will move east over NSW and southern Qld, bringing a stormy cool change. A cool-to-cold, cloudy day for Vic, Tas and southern SA with alpine snow. An area of instability should deepen over the west, triggering a few showers/storms. Hot still in the northwest.

Wednesday 09:30 z
Cold, unstable air should stream over the southeast, bringing showers & storms to eastern Vic, NSW & southeast Qld with alpine snow. The gusty cool will push well north into the southern NT. Intensifying instability over southwest WA will bring showers & storms. Hot in northwest.

Thursday 09:30 z
A high will mostly clear skies in SA, Vic and NSW, bringing a cold morning, while directing some showers over eastern Qld and western Tas. A strong cold front should arc up near WA, drawing hot air southward ahead of a gusty, stormy change.
