Moderate Flood Warning for the lower Isaac River
Issued at 10:22 am EST on Monday 27 March 2017
Flood Warning Number: 8
Moderate flood levels are easing along the lower reaches of the Isaac River at
No significant rainfall has fallen over the Connors and Isaac River catchments
in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Monday. Further showers and thunderstorms are
possible during the next few days, with the heaviest falls nearer to the coast.
Connors and Isaac Rivers:
River levels upstream on the Connors River at Pink Lagoon eased below minor
early Monday morning.
Further downstream on the Isaac River, moderate flood levels continue to ease
at Yatton following a peak of 11.56 metres recorded at 8am Sunday.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 10.79 metres and falling. The Isaac
River at Yatton is expected to fall below the moderate flood level (9.50 m)
overnight Monday into Tuesday.
