A strong cold front will cross southeastern Australia associated with a deep low to the south of Tasmania. Strong and in places damaging winds accompanied by heavy rain will affect pasts of eastern SA, Vic, Tas, ACT and NSW. Dry and mostly clear elsewhere.

A deep area of low pressure will continue to track eastwards over the Tasman Sea. Brisk, and in places damaging west or southwesterly winds will continue to affect parts of Vic, southern NSW, ACT and Tas. High pressure elsewhere will bring dry and clear weather.
