Weather Situation A high over the Tasman Sea is directing easterly winds across the Territory, tending warmer northerly in the south ahead of a trough near the southwest border. This trough will slowly move east across the southern districts during tonight and Monday as a strong high moves into the Bight. A fresh dry southeast surge, cool over the southern half, will then extend northwards through the Territory during the week. Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 May A slight chance of showers about the northeast coast. Cloudy areas in the Lasseter and Simpson Districts, contracting east. Mostly clear elsewhere. Light to moderate easterly winds, tending northeast to northwest south of Barrow Creek.
