Weather Situation A near-stationary trough over Queensland extends over the Barkly and Tanami districts and is directing moist tropical air over northern and central parts of the Territory. A ridge developing across southern Australia directs slightly cooler, drier southeasterly winds across the southern districts. From the middle of next week, the trough over Queensland begins moving west, causing humidity to increase over southern parts of the Territory. Forecast for the rest of Sunday 25 February Mostly sunny south of Ali Curung. A slight to medium chance of showers and thunderstorms elsewhere, increasing to a high chance north of Elliott.
