Weather Situation A ridge from high pressure system south of the Bight directs a southeast flow across the NT, becoming drier over the next few days and contracting showers to northern coastal areas. A warm airmass remains over the Territory with near record daytime temperatures, particularly over inland parts of the Top End. A weak cloud band over the far southwest of the Territory will weaken over the weekend. Forecast for the rest of Saturday 21 April Mostly clear across the NT. Light to moderate east to southeast wind. Forecast for Sunday 22 April A slight chance of showers about the northeast coast of the Top End.
