Weather Situation A firm Queensland ridge is directing an easterly flow into the Top End. This will see a gradual increase in humidity, with showers about the northeast coast and early morning fog across the eastern Top End. Persistent northerly winds ahead of a series of troughs moving through Western Australia will maintain unseasonably warm conditions in the south before a brief cool change develops in the south from Sunday. Forecast for the rest of Friday 28 July A slight chance of showers about the northeast coast, sunny elsewhere. Early morning fog patches across the southern Arnhem and Carpentaria Districts. Warm in the south.
