Northern Territory Forecast Issued at 5:00 am CST on Friday 23 June 2017 for the period until midnight CST Monday 26 June 2017. Warning Information For latest warnings go to www.bom.gov.au, subscribe to RSS feeds, call 1300 659 214* or listen for warnings on relevant TV and radio broadcasts. Weather Situation A weakening high pressure system over southeastern Australia is causing the east to southeast flow across the Territory to gradually ease. Becoming a little warmer during the next few days in the south as winds turn northeasterly ahead of a trough over Western Australia. The trough is expected to cause increasing cloud with possible showers and a cooler southeasterly change extending across the south of the Territory next week. Forecast for the rest of Friday 23 June A slight chance of morning showers about the far northeast coast. Areas of morning fog about the eastern Arnhem and northern Carpentaria Districts.
