Weather Situation A firm Queensland ridge is directing an easterly flow into the Top End. This will see a gradual increase in humidity, with showers about the northeast coast and early morning fog across eastern Top End. Persistent northerly winds ahead of a series of troughs moving through Western Australia will maintain unseasonably warm conditions in the south before a brief cool change develops in the south from Sunday. Forecast for the rest of Thursday 27 July Partly cloudy over the Arnhem District, sunny elsewhere. Early morning fog patches across the Arnhem and Carpentaria Districts. Warm in the south. Light to moderate east to southeast winds, tending north to northeast south of Ti Tree.
