Weather Situation A broad area of low pressure over central parts is directing moist tropical air over northern, central and western parts of the Territory. The next trough moves through the southern districts early in the weekend bringing cooler conditions to the the south and contracting the showers and storms northwards. Showers and storms continuing to the north, most likely in the onshore flow over the northern and western Top End. Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 21 February Clear over the eastern Simpson and far southeast Barkly Districts. A slight to medium chance of showers and gusty thunderstorms elsewhere.
