Weather Situation A firm ridge along the Queensland coast is directing moist and unstable northerlies over northern parts of the Territory, extending throughout over the next few days as a ridge of high pressure over southern Australia weakens and a trough across central parts moves south. Showers and storms in a moist tropical airmass then persisting over the Territory all of next next week. Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 22 November Mostly clear in the Lasseter and southern Tanami Districts. A medium to high chance of showers and gusty thunderstorms elsewhere. Light to moderate northwest winds north of Tennant Creek, tending east to southeast south of Tennant Creek.
