Final Flood Warning for the Huon River

Renewed river rises are no longer expected to exceed the minor flood level at
Precipitation totals of 10-20 mm were recorded in the past 24 hours to 4:00 pm.
Less than 5 mm of rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Friday.
Strong and dangerous flows will be a hazard over the next couple of days.
Huon River above Tahune:
River levels around Harrison's Opening will remain above the Minor Flood level
for the remainder of Friday and into Saturday morning.
River levels are expected to remain elevated in the Picton River during Friday
and into Saturday.
Huon River - Tahune to Judbury:
Renewed minor flooding is no longer expected in the Huon River between Tahune
The Huon River at Tahune Bridge will remain below the minor flood level (4.0 m).
The Huon River at Judbury peaked at 4.60 metres around 09:12 am Friday 20 July.
The Huon River at Judbury is expected to remain below the minor flood level
Huon River around Huonville:
River levels around Huonville are currently rising in response to recent
rainfall and the high tide, but will remain below the minor flood level.
