Final Flood Warning For The River Derwent
Issued at 11:04 AM EST on Saturday 07 September 2019
Flood Watch Number: 1

River rises are occurring at some locations but flooding is no longer expected in the Clyde and Ouse Rivers and in the Lower Derwent during Saturday.
In the 24 hours to 9 am Saturday, widespread rainfall totals of 5-35 mm were recorded in the Derwent catchment with isolated higher totals up to 50 mm.
Additional rainfall totals of 5-20 mm are forecast for the remainder of Saturday.

River Derwent above River Ouse:
Flooding is not expected in the River Derwent above River Ouse.
River Ouse:
Flooding is no longer expected in the River Ouse.
The River Ouse at Ashton is currently at 0.54 metres and steady.
Additional rises are expected during Saturday but the River Ouse at Ashton is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.40 m).

Additional rises are expected during Saturday but the River Ouse at Ouse is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m).

River Clyde:
Flooding is no longer expected in the River Clyde.
The River Clyde at Bothwell is currently at 0.07 metres and steady.
Additional rises are expected during Saturday but the River Clyde at Bothwell is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.00 m).

River rises are possible over the weekend but the River Clyde at Hamilton is expected to remain below the minor flood level (2.40 m).

River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam:
Flooding is no longer expected along the River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam.
The River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam is currently at 2.11 metres and steady.
The River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.10 m) over the weekend.
