Final Flood Warning for the Macquarie River

Minor flooding has eased along the Macquarie River around Cressy Pumps. River
levels will fall slowly around Macquarie River above Westmoor during the
No significant rainfall is forecast for the Macquarie River catchment for the
remainder of the weekend.
Strong and dangerous flows will be a hazard over the next couple of days.
Macquarie River - Lake River to Longford:
No further flooding is expected in the Macquarie River - Lake River to Longford.
The Macquarie River above Westmoor is currently at 2.59 metres and falling. The
Macquarie River above Westmoor will remain above the minor flood level (2.00 m)
over the weekend as river levels ease slowly.
The Macquarie River at Cressy Pumps fell below the minor flood level (3.00 m)
during Friday evening and is currently at 2.67 metres and falling.
