Final Flood Warning for the North Esk River
Issued at 10:00 am EST on Thursday 25 July 2019

Flood Warning Number: 5
Minor flooding has eased along the lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
No significant rainfall was observed over the North Esk catchment in the 24
hours to 9 am Thursday. Mt Barrow recorded 25 mm which is likely to represent
snowmelt from previous days.
No further significant rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Thursday.
Strong and dangerous flows will be a hazard over the next couple of days.
St Patricks River:
Flooding is not expected in the St Patricks River.
The St Patricks River at Nunamara Offtake is currently at 1.02 metres and
steady. The St Patricks River at Nunamara Offtake is expected to remain below
the minor flood level (1.50 m) during Thursday.
Upper North Esk River:
Flooding is not expected in the Upper North Esk River.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
No further flooding is expected in the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.42 metres and falling. The
North Esk River at Corra Linn is expected to remain below the minor flood level
(2.70 m) during Thursday.
