Final Flood Warning for the North Esk River

Flooding is no longer expected along the Lower North Esk River around Corra
In the 48 hours to 9am Wednesday, rainfall totals of 23-62 mm were observed
across the North Esk catchment. No significant rainfall is expected for the
next couple of days.
Strong and dangerous flows may be a hazard over the next couple of days.
St Patricks River:
River levels are easing in the St Patricks River.
The St Patricks River at Nunamara Offtake is currently at 0.82 metres and
falling. River levels will remain below the minor flood level (1.50 m) during
Upper North Esk River:
River levels are easing in the Upper North Esk River. The river level at
Ballroom is currently 1.08 m and falling.
Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn:
Flooding is no longer expected in the Lower North Esk River around Corra Linn.
The North Esk River at Corra Linn is currently at 2.08 metres and steady. River
levels will remain below the minor flood level (2.70 m) during Wednesday.
