Weather Situation Severe heatwave conditions across the Top End and central districts and will extend south across southern districts from Monday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue north of a trough lying just south of the Top End in the humid northwesterly flow, through showers and storms will mainly be in north and west. Areas of cloud in the south will mostly clear by Sunday before another trough over WA drags isolated showers and thunderstorms south again along the western border early in the new week.
