Weather Situation A weak pressure gradient extends across northern parts of the Territory. Hot and very windy in the south ahead of a cool change which extends north to Tennant Creek by late Friday. A cloud band will develop across the southwest on Sunday, bringing areas of rain to the area before clearing mid week. Forecast for the rest of Friday 20 September Slight chance of showers over the far southern parts of the Lasseter District. Partly cloudy south of Tennant Creek, clearing from the west during the afternoon and evening. Sunny elsewhere after early morning fog about the Top End and Carpentaria District. Areas of raised dust south of Tennant Creek.
