Weather Situation Very hot conditions will ease during the next few days over the northern half of the Territory as cloud cover slowly increases. A trough over Queensland will move into the Barkly District on Wednesday. Becoming warmer in the south ahead of another trough developing over Western Australia. This trough will move through the southern districts late Thursday and Friday, followed by a cooler change. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop over the Territory as a result of these two troughs over the next few days.
