Weather Situation A ridge over central Australia is directing a moderate to fresh and drier flow through much of the Territory and will weaken from Tuesday. A more humid easterly flow gradually returns in the north from the middle of the week as the Queensland ridge builds, resulting in light showers developing about the northwest coast of the Top End. Mostly sunny conditions prevailing elsewhere in the Territory. In the south, mild to warm temperatures expected before the next trough arrives from WA later in the week and winds turn northerly. A patchy cloud band is expected to develop with the arrival of this trough.
