Final Flood Warning for the Fitzroy River

River levels have fallen below the minor flood level at all forecast locations.
Seasonal showers and thunderstorms to continue over most of the Fitzroy
catchment. Whilst river rises are still possible in response to isolated storm
activity, areas of widespread flooding are no longer expected in the Fitzroy
Fitzroy River from Noonkanbah to Willare:
No further flooding is expected in the Fitzroy River from Noonkanbah to Willare.
The Fitzroy River at Willare is currently at 7.52 metres and falling.
Flood Safety Advice:
DFES advises people and communities to be aware that flooding is possible and
be prepared to relocate equipment and livestock. Watch water levels. Travellers
need to be aware that road conditions may be adversely affected and travel
plans may need to be reconsidered. Do not drive into water of unknown depth and
