Flood Warning for the Diamantina River
Issued at 9:46 am EST on Tuesday 17 January 2017
Flood Warning Number: 9
River levels are now above the moderate flood level and continue to slowly rise
in the Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes.
Showers and storms are possible over parts of the catchment for the next few
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
At 8:00 am Tuesday, the river level at Diamantina Lakes is well above the
height of the Springvale Diamantina Lakes Road Causeway (2.1 metres) and
continuing to rise.
