Final Flood Warning for the Haughton River Catchment

Minor flood levels have peaked on the Haughton River at Giru.
Creek levels continue to slowly ease overnight Friday.
River levels along the Haughton River are easing below minor through to
Powerline. Further downstream at Giru, river levels have peaked and have
commenced to ease.
The Haughton River at Giru peaked at 1.90 metres around 07:20 pm Friday 19 May
and is currently at 1.80 metres and falling with minor flooding. The Haughton
River at Giru will fall below the minor flood level (1.80 m) overnight Friday
