Fire Weather Warning
for the North Coast fire area.
Issued at 12:08 pm EST on Wednesday 16 August 2017.
A low pressure trough is moving through the central districts of New South
Wales today. Hot, dry and gusty west/northwesterly winds are expected ahead of
the trough, and a fresh and gusty southwesterly change is expected to accompany
the passage of the trough. Very high to severe fire danger indices have been
observed on the north coast and are expected to persist into the afternoon
ahead of the change.

- Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
- Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station,
www.rfs.nsw.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

No further warnings will be issued for this event, but the situation will
continue to be monitored and further warnings issued if necessary.
