Weather Situation A high moving into the Tasman Sea directs an easterly flow across the Top End, becoming drier over the next few days and contracting showers to northern coastal areas. A warm airmass remains over the Territory with near record daytime temperatures, particularly over inland parts of the Top End. A weak cloud band over the far southwest of the Territory will weaken over the weekend. Forecast for the rest of Saturday 21 April A slight chance of showers about the northwest coast of the Top End. Mostly sunny elsewhere apart from the chance of morning fog about the eastern Carpentaria and Arnhem Districts.
