A warm airmass remains over the Territory with near record daytime temperatures, particularly over inland parts of the Top End. Forecast for the rest of Monday 23 April A slight chance of showers about the east coast of the Top End. A slight chance of high based showers and gusty storms over the far southwest Lasseter District. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Light to moderate east to southeast winds, tending fresh and gusty across the central districts during the morning.
