The high weakens and moves slowly east from mid week with winds gradually easing across northern Australia. A little warmer in the south later in the week ahead of a trough approaching from the west. Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 22 May A slight chance of showers over the northeast Arnhem district. A cool morning across southern districts. Mostly sunny and dry elsewhere. Moderate east to southeast winds, fresh and gusty at times during the day.
