Weather Situation A ridge of high pressure over southern Australia directs a southeast to northeast flow across the Territory. Warm in the south as winds turn northeasterly ahead of a trough lying across the southwest of the NT. This trough will move through central and southern parts in the next few days, causing increasing cloud with some patchy rain over southern districts. A cooler southeasterly change will extend across the southern half of the Territory during the week. Forecast for the rest of Sunday 25 June Cloudy areas in the south, with a slight to medium chance of rain in the southwest Lasseter District and southern Simpson District. Mostly sunny elsewhere.
